Projected No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza will not throw at the combine this week, per Adam Schefter. He will throw at Indiana pro day on April 1st, when the school has multiple pass catchers that Mendoza wants to help showcase.

Here at WeRaider, we did not expect him to throw at the combine anyway. It makes more sense to wait for his own pro day with his receivers.

Mendoza is coming off a strong season at Oregon and is considered the top quarterback prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Raiders, holding the No. 1 pick, are widely expected to select a quarterback to build around.
