Raiders Awarded Compensatory Picks in 2026 NFL Draft: Round 4 and Round 5 Selections

Key Takeaways:

  • Raiders awarded two compensatory picks in the 2026 NFL Draft
  • Round 4: No. 134 overall
  • Round 5: No. 175 overall
  • Picks awarded based on 2025 free-agent losses

The Las Vegas Raiders have been awarded two compensatory draft picks for the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft, the league announced Monday.

The first compensatory pick comes in the fourth round at No. 134 overall and the second will be in the fifth round at No. 175 overall.

Compensatory picks are decided based upon a formula based on the previous year’s free agents. Under the system, a team losing more or better compensatory free agents than it acquires in the previous year is eligible to receive compensatory draft picks, up to four maximum.

Per the league, the Raiders’ compensatory free agents lost were K’Lavon Chaisson, Divine Deablo, Nate Hobbs, Tre’von Moehrig and Robert Spillane. The free agents gained were Jeremy Chinn, Elandon Roberts and Eric Stokes.

This adds to an already loaded Raiders draft arsenal. The team currently holds 11 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, including two first-round selections — their own at No. 1 and the No. 14 pick acquired from the Baltimore Ravens in the Maxx Crosby trade.

With $121.7 million in cap space and now 11 draft picks, GM John Spytek has an incredible amount of resources to rebuild this roster around franchise quarterback Fernando Mendoza.

Walk the Plank

More picks, more problems for the rest of the NFL. The compensatory picks are the cherry on top of what is already shaping up to be a transformational offseason for the Raiders. Losing Tre’von Moehrig, Robert Spillane, Nate Hobbs, K’Lavon Chaisson and Divine Deablo hurt, but getting comp picks for it is the silver lining. Combined with the two first-rounders from the Maxx Crosby trade, Spytek has a war chest of picks to either draft blue-chip talent or accumulate more assets. The rebuild is officially underway.
